About Me

Early 30s is a great time to be alive - you’re still young, but you have experience. A powerful combo. The downside is all that weird rockstar ____ you believe about yourself is well past its sell-by date, and if you haven’t outgrown it by then, it starts to ____ up your life. John Pederson. I have no idea where to start. My bio begins somewhere in the realm of educational technology and ends with connoisseur of offbeat Internet culture. The money comes from doing educational technology professional development for K12 teachers. I increasingly enjoying doing gigs on the edtech conference circuit. I am a self-proclaimed closet librarian. I’m fascinated at how online learning communities evolve. I once left educational technology and played World of Warcraft for 8 months straight, eclipsing the 125 days played mark. I discovered Twitter much like Christopher Columbus discovered America…by watching others and then bringing the disease to a bunch of friends.
